A firm conviction that "quality of life can only improve, if the individual improves his or her quality" led to the decision of the Founder Mr. Karl Kübel, a renowned entrepreneur to establish the Karl Kübel Stiftung (KKS), Germany, in 1972.
KKS launched itself into development cooperation in India, with the underlying concepts of supporting parents, in fulfilling their responsibility for personal growth, and holistic development of their children. The experience gained, generated a need for establishing Karl Kübel Institute for Development Education (KKID), Coimbatore, Tamilnadu. The core focus of the Institute is, brining about improvement in the quality of Human Resources, Development and Life.
The Institute at Coimbatore functions as a unit of Karl Kübel Foundation for Child & Family (KKF), Kochi, a company actively supported by KKS.
